The present invention relates to a method of classifying solvents for a solution-based process and a system using the same. More particularly, according to the present invention, N number of solvents which have similar characteristics and are difficult to evaluate a delicate characteristic difference by using an existing method, can be evaluated clearly and quantitatively. Based on the evaluation result, the N number of solvents can be classified into M number of categories. The method includes a step of configuring SET-sub of a solvent set and a step of evaluating solvent characteristics.
