PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic member capable of suppressing deterioration of a charge imparting property even if stored or used for a long period of time under a high temperature and high humidity environment, and contributing to a formation a high-quality electrophotographic image.SOLUTION: An electrophotographic member includes a conductive substrate and a conductive layer on the substrate. The conductive layer includes a resin having a cationic organic group within the molecule thereof and an anion. The total sum of the contents of alkali metals and alkaline earth metals included in the conductive layer is 500 ppm or less. The anion is at least one selected from a group consisting of a sulfonate fluoride anion, a carboxylic acid fluoride anion, a sulfonyl imide fluoride anion, a sulfonyl methide fluoride anion, an alkyl fluoroboric acid fluoride anion, a phosphorus acid fluoride anion, an antimonate fluoride anion, and an arsenic acid fluoride anion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
