PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hub unit bearing capable of restricting its manufacturing cost and further preventing erroneous assembly of an encoder seal and a pack seal.SOLUTION: The hub unit bearing comprises an encoder seal 20 having an encoder 26, and a pack seal 30. Each of the encoder seal 20 and the pack seal 30 comprises seal rings 21, 31 and slingers 25, 35. The seal rings 21, 31 comprise cores 22, 32 and seal parts 23, 33 fixed to the cores 22, 32. Each of the cores 22, 32 of the encoder seal 20 and the pack seal 30 and the slingers 25, 35 is made common, the seal parts 23, 33 of the encoder seal 20 and the pack seal 30 are molded by vulcanization forming dies 40, 50 made in substantially common, the encoder seal 20 and the pack seal 30 are press fitted into a bearing 10 by the press-in jigs of the same size.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
