PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing for a liquefied gas pump formed with an insulation film made of ceramics having an increased lifetime with an enhanced film strength and adhesion of the insulation film.SOLUTION: A rolling bearing for a liquefied gas pump comprises a pair of metallic bearing washers, metallic rolling elements and holders, where surfaces other than a surface formed with a bearing surface of at least one of the bearing washers have primary ingredients of alumina and zirconia, zirconia comprises 5 mass% or more and 40 mass% or less of a total amount of alumina and zirconia, the alumina contains α-alumina and γ-alumina, the zirconia contains at least one of monoclinic crystal zirconia and cubic crystal zirconia, and the rolling bearing is covered by an insulation film having a film thickness of 100 μm or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
