PURPOSE: To make it possible to prevent rainwater from blowing into a building even during heavy rainstorm by providing an eave soffit corner base material having a ventilation opening and a shelter installed on the bottom of the base material and a hanging piece which hangs from the base material continuously. CONSTITUTION: A ventilation opening 11a is installed substantially at the central part of an eave soffit corner base material 11 in the radial direction. A reinforcing material 11b is spanned between both strips for every specified spacing. Then, a projected strip 11C is formed on the side edges on the eaves of the base material 11 and locked with a board material 21 of an eave soffit 2. A shelter 12 is integrally installed to the bottom of the base material while surrounding the opening 11a. The shelter 12 is formed with three continuous surfaces 12b, 12c and 12d. Furthermore, a clamping piece 13, which clamps the board material 21, is installed to the first surface 12b in parallel to the base material 11. The hanging piece 13 is installed in the middle between the opening 11a and a vent hole 12a and divided and elastically deformed per unit, thereby blocking rainwater during heavy storm. This construction makes it possible to prevent rainwater from being penetrated into a building and build up ventilation structure at an eave soffit with ease. |
