<p>PURPOSE: To enhance marking quality by providing a groove processing method stable to an article to be processed composed of a thermoplastic resin. CONSTITUTION: A marking pen 8 consists of the piezoelectric element 9 of a vibration generation source, the solid horn 10 of a vibration propagating member and the stylus 11 coming into contact with an article 14 to be processed and the piezoelectric element 9 is cooled by a cooler 12. The article 14 to be processed is melted by the friction heat generated between the stylus 11 and the article 14 to be processed. At this time, the friction heat is measured by a radiation thermometer 15 and temp. data is sent to a control box 13. The control box 13 controls the amplitude of the drive pulse sent to the piezoelectric element on the basis of the temp. data to control the vibration amplitude of the piezoelectric element 9. The contact pressure of the stylus 11 and the article 14 to be processed is controlled by an air cylinder 6 to be kept constant.</p> |
