The storage device with a number of boxes (1) is mobile, un-anchored and consists of an automatically operating unit incorporating electronically manoeuvrable locks (11,16,17) and a current source. A computer is incorporated with a keyboard/plate connected to it. The computer is arranged to recognise a code fed in by means of the keyboard plate when a box is taken into use and thereby locks the box. It also unlocks the box when the same code is subsequently fed in by means of the keyboard plate. - Each box is marked with an individual number or similar. The computer on activation of the storage device, through a coin being inserted into a coin slot, shows on a display a number on a specific box. The computer locks the box when the user has fed in his or her code. |
