PROCESS TESTING FRAGMENTATION AMMUNITION WITH CIRCULAR FIELD OF SCATTERING OF SPLINTERS AND STAND FOR ITS REALIZATION

FIELD: tests of fragmentation ammunitions of natural splintering with circular fields. SUBSTANCE: shield method of testing is modified due to installation splinter trap made in the form of loose medium or set of trapping blocks in space between wall and sheet lining. Collapsible trapping blocks are made from low-density materials, sheet lining is made from metal and antiricochet shield is positioned between blasted ammunition and wall. Stand is equipped with registering devices making it feasible to determine distribution of velocities of splinters by scattering angles. EFFECT: determination of law of distribution of splinters by mass inside each angular zone of scattering. 36 cl, 23 dwg
