AUTOMATIC OPERATING METHOD FOR WASTEWATER TREATMENT USING ACTIVATED SLUDGE

PURPOSE: An automatic operating method for a wastewater treatment system using activated sludge is provided, which is characterized in that the system can control dewatering velocity according to the thickness of sludge and then make sludge cake with proper water content. CONSTITUTION: An automatic operating method using activated sludge is performed in a wastewater treatment system consisting of the following parts: a thickener(10) equipped with a pressure sensor(11) to detect thickened sludge levels; a mixer(20) equipped with a supersonic sensor(22) at the upper mixer(20) to detect coagulant-mixed sludge levels; a dewatering conveyer(30) installed with a limit switch(31); a dewaterer(40); and a trailer(50) equipped with supersonic sensors(51,52) to check the quantities of sludge cake. The system can control dewatering velocity according to the thickness of sludge and then make sludge cake with proper water content.
