PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label with an embossed pattern excellent in bottle washability using paper as a base, on the surface of which the embossed pattern is applied and which is adhered to a glass bottle by application of water-based glue and of which the embossed pattern does not disappear even by application of the water-based glue and a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: In the label excellent in bottle washability constituted by applying a precoat layer 12 which makes at least alkali soluble resin principal component, an aluminum deposition thin film layer 14, an anchor coat layer 15 for printing and a printing ink layer 16 on one surface of the paper base 10, a melting extrusion resin layer 19 is laminated on the surface of the printing ink layer 16 via an EX anchor coat layer 18 and the embossed pattern 20 is applied on the melting extrusion resin layer 19 by a cooling roll.
