<p>A stem for use in an artificial hip joint is provided to make a surgical operation of a cotyloid cup and a stem correctly even when the surgical operation of the stem on a thighbone is incorrectly performed. A stem for use in an artificial hip joint is coupled to a cotyloid cup fixed on a cotyloid part of a pubis of a human body, and includes a front end portion(300), a placement portion(200), a head portion(100) and a front end coupling portion(350) coupled between the front end portion and the placement portion. The front end portion is inserted into a thighbone. The placement portion extends from the front end portion. The head portion includes a head coupling portion(120) and a head(110). The head coupling portion(120) is detachable from the placement portion, and the head is inserted into the cotyloid cup.</p> |
