PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swash plate compressor for enabling a swash plate to be rotated integrally with a rotating shaft during the rotation of the rotating shaft.SOLUTION: The swash plate compressor includes a rotatable rotating shaft 21, a swash plate 23 connected to the rotating shaft 21 in an integrally rotatable manner, cylinder blocks 11 and 12 internally storing the swash plate 23, and a thrust bearing 25 placed between the cylinder block 11 and the swash plate 23, for supporting an axial load working on the swash plate 23. The thrust bearing 25 has a first race 251 brought into face contact with the swash plate 23, a second race 252 opposed to the first race 251 in the axial direction, and rolling elements 253 laid between the first race 251 and the second race 252.
