PURPOSE: To form a device in a compact manner and to improve rigidity against an external force. CONSTITUTION: The tilt trim device 17 of a propeller for a ship is provided with a tilt cylinder device 18 and a trim cylinder device 19 which are arranged between a stern bracket 15 fixed to a stern, and a swivel bracket 14 inclinably supported at the stern bracket through a tilt shaft 9. Two trim cylinder devices are arranged at the outer periphery on one side of the tilt cylinder device with its back toward the tilt cylinder device. A pump unit 20 and a tank are arranged on the outer periphery on the multiend part side of the tilt cylinder device, the tip part of the piston rod 25 of the tilt cylinder device is pivotally supported to a swivel bracket, and the tip part of the piston rod 30 of the trim cylinder device is pivotally supported at the stern bracket. |
