摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide particulate carrying carbon particles which can be used as a substitute of platinum carrying carbon particles and metal platinum particles currently used generally for an electrode catalyst for a fuel cell and can reduce greatly the amount of use of platinum compared with conventional platinum carrying carbon particles, and its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: Perovskite type compound metal oxide particulates in which noble metal particulates exists throughout the perovskite type oxide particles and of which crystallite size is 1-20 nm are carried on carbon particles. As a means of manufacturing the particulate carrying carbon particles, a method is adopted in which a process in which a solution containing metal complex ions to constitute perovskite type complex oxide particulates and noble metal particulates is prepared and, after impregnating the solution obtained into carbon particles, it is dried, is repeated, and thereby the metal complex ions are adsorbed to the carbon particles and then, heat treatment is applied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
