PURPOSE: To prevent slide-rubbing and stain on an image face of sheet which is already discharged by sheet to be discharged. CONSTITUTION: The direction of width of sheet S for recording is regulated by setting a movable regulation member 4. Both sides of a rear surface of the sheet S to be discharged are supported on a fixed guide member 5 and a movable guide member which can travel in the direction of width to settle them on the sheet. The setting operation of the movable guide member 6 becomes unnecessary by bringing the fixed guide member 5 into the interlocking relationship with it by the setting operation of the movable regulation member 4 and an interlocking member 9.
