The system has a target area information generating section to generate target area information which indicates coordinates of a target area on a sensing surface. A projection control section (130) controls a lens shift section based on intersection between diagonal lines of a calibration image and between lines of the area so that the intersection between the image lines moves to the intersection between the area lines.
