Described is a system for simulating the projection of sunbeams over a scale model of a building or architectonic project, at different latitudes, seasons and hours, in order to know the amount and projection of light and shadow within the building to be constructed in advance of the construction process. The inventive system includes the required means for simulating the sun travel during the day at a predetermined date of the year and at a specific latitude of the Earth, the aforesaid process being projected over a scale model supported on a fixed base, using a mobile lighting system.
