Provided are a method and device for managing a virtual resource of a virtualized network function (VNF). The method comprises: receiving, by element management (EM), information of a virtual resource of a VNF and of a completed VNF lifecycle operation transmitted from a VNF manager (VNFM), or receiving, by element management (EM), configuration information transmitted from network management (NM) and used to manage the VNF and a management object of the virtual resource of the VNF (S302); and determining and performing, by the EM, according to the information of the virtual resource of the VNF and the information of the completed VNF lifecycle operation or according to the configuration information used to manage the VNF and the management object of the virtual resource of the VNF, a configuration operation used to manage the VNF and the management object of the virtual resource of the VNF (S304). The present invention addresses the problem in the related art in which a VNF cannot be dynamically managed by managing NM and EM, thus supplementing the related art. |
