PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal rotary dryer which facilitates mass treatment of target objects by improving drying performance of the dryer.SOLUTION: It is configured to meet the following conditions: (1) An inactive carrier gas A is circulated from one end side to another end side in a rotary cylinder 10 in a parallel flow manner; and (2) The carrier gas is heated on the another end side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
