HEAD INCLINATION CONFIRMING METHOD IN SERIAL PRINTER

PURPOSE:To provide a head inclination confirming method in serial printer by which an inclined state of a printing head can be positively and easily identified. CONSTITUTION:In a serial printer, pattern data of a vertically ruled line pattern is provided. Based on the pattern data, the vertically ruled line pattern is printed at least by the amount of three lines (steps S1-S7). By comparing the top and bottom of the vertically ruled line pattern with each other, an inclined state of a printing head in the travel direction thereof is identified.
