<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing 1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene from a raw material which is available on an industrial scale or relatively easily producible from a raw material available on an industrial scale. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing 1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene by the dehydrofluorination reaction of 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoropropane in gaseous phase in the presence of a catalyst uses a catalyst supporting a zirconium compound on a metal oxide or activated carbon. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
