PURPOSE: A method of scanning a double line of a PDP TV is provided to perform a double line scanning and to reduce a line scanning time, thereby increasing a sub field or a discharge sustaining time, and thus improving a contrast. CONSTITUTION: A method of scanning a double line of a PDP TV, in which a frame for displaying an image is divided into an odd field and an even field, comprises the steps of; recoding a same data on two lines to overcome a time restriction requiring for an improvement of a contrast, and then scanning a scan electrode line by two lines when line-scanning at the odd field and the even field. In the method, the PDP TV comprises a compound image signal treating portion for treating a compound image signal received through an antenna into an analog signal and supplying the analog signal to an ADC portion, an ADC portion for sampling the input analog compound image signal and treating into a digital data, a memory for re-assigning the digital data, and a data interfacing portion for receiving the digital image data from the memory and forming a datastream suitable for a PDP gradation treatment.
