PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating body capable of suppressing the occurrence of air bubbles and capable of performing uniform contact between liquid and a substrate.SOLUTION: A coating body 100 is mounted on a substrate 300 for storing liquid on the substrate. The substrate comprises a specimen capture part 310 on an upper face thereof. A principal surface of the coating body faces the substrate when the coating body is mounted on the substrate, in which the principal surface comprises: a recess 11 including a storage part 112 for covering the specimen capture part and storing the liquid; and a pair of projections 113a and 113b disposed to sandwich the recess at portions apart from the recess. In a state where the coating body is mounted on the substrate, end faces 113c and 113d of the projections come into contact with the substrate, and areas Ra and Rb between the projections and the recess out of the principal surface of the coating body are separated from the upper face of the substrate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
