PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system, excellent in dispersibility in any grayscale, capable of outputting an image whose granularity is suppressed as a whole.SOLUTION: In a specific grayscale in the neighborhood where a quantization value is changed over, three kinds of quantization values, N-1, N, N+3, are output. In this case, at a specific grayscale, along with an increase in multiple value data, a quantization value is so set that the number of pixels having a quantization value of N+1 is monotonously increasing, the number of pixels having a quantization value of N is unchanged, and the number of pixels having a quantization value of N-1 is monotonously decreasing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
