PURPOSE: To estimate the replacing period of a liquid jet recording head formed as a cartridge by detecting the residual amt. of the liquid in a liquid storage part. CONSTITUTION: A recording head part 5 having an energy acting part allowing energy to act on a liquid, a pair of the electrodes 9, 10 connected to the energy acting part and emitting orifices 6 emitting the liquid receiving the action of energy as liquid droplets is provided and integrally connected to a liquid storage part 2 through a connection part 4 to obtain a cartridge type liquid jet recording head. In this head, the connection part 4 is made transparent. |
