<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate necessity of forming a large ink chamber in a print cartridge and to reduce in size the cartridge and a carriage by receiving ink from an ink supply container where a printing head is steadily stopped. SOLUTION: The ink distributing system comprises an ink supply station 30 cut of a shaft for containing interchangeable ink supply cartridges 31, 32, 33, 34. Four tubes 36 which may be flexible or rigid carry ink from the four cartridges 31, 32, 33, 34 to for pressure regulators in a housing 38 of a pressure regulator. The regulators convert not regulated pressures from the cartridges 31, 32, 33, 34 into regulated ink pressures. The regulated ink pressures are normally set at -2 to -10 inches of water column according to a printing head and other cause.</p> |
