The present invention is a flow enhancer to provide a falling film into a vertical tubular wall of heat exchanger. Such a heat exchanger is used, for example, in drainwater heat recovery where it replaces a section of a building's vertical drainpipe. The present flow enhancer is used to convert the random flow paths and trajectories of the drainwater flow, whether vertical or horizontal, into a circumferential or annular flow onto the entire inner wall so as to improve heat transfer. |
