PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent urine or the like from leaking from a diaper. SOLUTION: An absorptive article main body 1 such as a diaper has an absorbing body 4 having a recess section 4a depressing both outer edges at a longitudinal middle section between a permeable surface sheet 2 and a impermeable back sheet 3. The absorptive article main body 1 provides arranging side sheets 6 along a longitudinal direction at both outer sides on a surface of the permeable surface sheet 2. The both side sheets 6 form outer edges of a width direction to a longitudinal direction along outer edges of both edge sections of a longitudinal direction of the width direction through an adjacent middle section of the width direction of the recess section 4a of the absorbing body 4 to the longitudinal direction. The adjacent inner edges of the both side sheets 6 have longitudinal elasticity. The longitudinal middle section of the both side sheets 6 and the absorptive article main body 1 are formed in one body, and impermeable flexible deformation flap sections 20 are formed between the inner edges of the both side sheets 6 and the outer edges of the width direction of the absorbing body 4.
