PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the earthquake-resistant effect without damaging furniture and a wall or the like by placing a stacking furniture on the top of a furniture, fixing a housing pipe of which the top and the bottom can be reversed, to both deep end corners of the lower plate in the stacking furniture, and providing holes in which a U-shape pipe is inserted, on the upper plate of the stacking furniture. SOLUTION: A stacking furniture 1 is manufactured, and to both deep corners in the furniture 1, pipes 2 in which a U-shape pipe 4 is housed, are fixed. Then, on the upper plate of the stacking furniture 1, holes 3 in which the U-shape pipe 4 is inserted are provided. Since base materials of a ceiling are located at locations being apart by 30 to 45 cm without fail, and the width of the U-shape pipe 4 is 45 cm or longer, the U-shape pipe 4 indirectly comes into contact with the base material without fail. Also, since the width of the U-shape pipe 4 is wide, the U-shape pipe 4 directly and widely comes into contact with a fire-resistant board, and a decorative plate or the like which are affixed to the ceiling, and the earthquake-resistant effect becomes extremely strong. In addition, articles can be housed in the stacking furniture 1.
