A display device is provided to easily test the operational characteristics of a display panel even after finalizing a scribe process of a mother substrate, by forming a panel test part in a peripheral area of the display panel adjacent to a gate driver. A display panel has a display area(DA) for displaying an image and first and second peripheral areas(PA1,PA2) surrounding the display area. The display panel includes a first substrate(500) and a second substrate(600) facing the first substrate. A gate driver(200) is formed in the first peripheral area. A panel test part(900) is formed in the first peripheral area, wherein the panel test part is disposed adjacently to the gate driver. The panel test part tests the operational characteristics of the display panel. |
