PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of reducing a burden on a user who operates an information processing apparatus to change settings of an image processing apparatus.SOLUTION: A PC terminal 100 receives an input of a setting value of an MFP 200. When the setting value cannot be set to the MFP 200, the PC terminal 100 encrypts information requiring protection of a password in the setting value. The PC terminal 100 stores the encrypted information in a storage area for WebStorage. Meanwhile, the PC terminal 100 stores an encryption key in a storage area for Cookie as information not requiring protection.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
