A flat panel display abrasive apparatus and a correction method of an abrasive stone are provided to prevent fault and failure caused due to wear of the abrasive stone and prevent work from being frequently paused due to repair and maintenance. A flat panel display abrasive apparatus includes an abrasive stone(20) for abrading edges of a panel; an inspection unit for measuring the amount of wear of the abrasive stone by comparing the amount of abrasion of the panel measured in real time and an initial abrasion amount of the panel; and a correction unit for adjusting the position of the abrasive stone in accordance with the measured wear amount. The inspection unit includes a camera for photographing the ground portion of the panel; and a controller for measuring the wear amount of the abrasive stone.
