The invention relates to food and health care products and the use thereof facilitates to prepare an oxygen cocktail. The inventive method for producing an oxygen cocktail consists in filling a capsule with an oxygen-containing gas, the pressure of which is greater than the atmospheric pressure. The capsule is provided with a device which is used for retaining the gas in the capsule before it is immersed in a liquid. The capsule being immersed in the liquid, the gas is released for oxygenating it.
