PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a down-sized remote control device of a circuit breaker capable of perceiving from a position of a handle the tripping operation status of the circuit breaker, without requiring a large operation force more than necessary at the time of manual operation. SOLUTION: In the remote control device, an electromagnetic linear actuator is constructed of a voice coil motor of coilless type including an assembly of a stator 12 in which a pair of bar-shape permanent magnets 12b which is magnetized mutually in reversed polarity is aligned in series and installed on a guide pipe 12a for guiding a moving member, and the moving member 13 in which an operating coil 13a wound and installed on a coil winding frame 13b is guided and supported along the guide pipe 12a capable of sliding movement. The coil winding frame 13b of the moving member 13 is connected to a handle 1a of the circuit breaker 1, and the handle 1a is switching operated to On, Off, and Reset positions by selectively switching over the direction of exciting current to be flowed to the operating coil 13a.
