PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door opening unit which enables a door and a door frame to be unfixed from each other by man power, when the opening of the door becomes difficult because the door 10 and the door frame 20 are firmly fixed together on ground that the door frame is deformed due to earthquakes and the like. SOLUTION: This door opening unit comprises an actuator 30 which is equipped with an input member 55 and first and second output members 32 and 81, and a case 80 which houses the actuator and which is connected to the second output member of the actuator. When the door is in a closing position, the first output member adjoins an upper door end corner of the door, and a part of the case adjoins an upper door end corner of the door frame. The actuator 30 constitutionally increases an actuating force for being input into the input member, and increases a distance D between the first and second output members by the increased actuating force (output W). When the actuating force F is input into the input member 55, the upper door end corner of the door is separated from the upper door end corner of the door frame, so that the door and the door frame can be unfixed.
