METHOD FOR REPRODUCING COVER OF ANTIQUE BOOK USING KOREAN TRADITIONAL WOODCUT

An antique book cover reproduction method according to the present invention includes: (A) a first step of measuring an antique book cover; (B) a second step of patternizing the design of the antique book cover; (C) a third step of printing the pattern resulting from the second step on a protection sheet; (D) a fourth step of attaching the protection sheet to a base panel; (E) a fifth step of performing sand blast by injecting an abrasive to a surface of the base panel; (F) a sixth step of applying gardenia seed water to Korean traditional paper; and (G) a seventh step of rubbing the Korean traditional paper on the base panel with a smooth stone so that its design is engraved on the Korean traditional paper.
