PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device, an image processing device, and a method and program for controlling them for further accurately acquiring the position and attitude of the communication device while suppressing the power consumption of the communication device, such as an HMD (Head Mounted Display).SOLUTION: The communication device communicable with the image processing device images a real space to generate video data, encodes the video data in a plurality of block units, generates first encoded data and second encoded data in each block, transmits the first encoded data to the image processing device, receives information about the position and the attitude of the communication device, generated by the image processing device on the basis of the first encoded data, analyzes the information to determine whether it is necessary to transmit at least a portion of the second encoded data, and transmits the at least a portion of the second encoded data to the image processing device on the basis of an analysis result.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
