PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording device capable of further suppressing deposition of a coloring agent on the surface of an absorber.SOLUTION: An inkjet recording device includes: an inkjet head 4 for ejecting ink containing a resin dispersion type pigment; a platen foam 60 which is arranged in a region facing an ejection surface of the inkjet head 4 and absorbs the ink ejected from the inkjet head 4; and a solution which contains a water-soluble organic solvent and is absorbed by the platen foam 60. In the solution, a surface tension when formed into an aqueous solution where a concentration of the solution is 5 wt.% is 50 mN/m. An amount of the water-soluble organic solvent in the solution to be blended is seven or more times an amount of the resin dispersion type pigment to be blended in the ink.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
