PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a promoter showing responsiveness to copper ion which is a conditional promoter that efficiently functions in a transformant, and an analytical method of a gene function and a screening method of a compound using the promoter, and an expression system which efficiently functions to trichophyton.SOLUTION: A copper ion responsive promoter that consists of a specific base sequence derived from trichophyton includes: a DNA that consists of a base sequence in which one or a plurality of bases are deleted, substituted, or added in the base sequence, and functions as a copper ion responsive promoter; and a DNA that hybridizing with a DNA that consists of a base sequence complementary with the base sequence under a stringent condition, and functions as a copper ion responsive promoter DNA. An expression vector contains the DNA. A transformant has the expression vector. The transformant is a fungal cell, and is trichophyton, more specifically. In a screening method of a compound, influence of test compound is determined by using the transformant.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
