A radio communication device, comprising: a first transceiver configured to transmit and receive signals in accordance with a first transmission and reception schedule associated with a Cellular Wide Area radio communication technology; a second transceiver configured to transmit and receive signals in accordance with a second transmission and reception schedule associated with a Short Range radio communication technology or a Metropolitan Area System radio communication technology; and a processor configured to identify one or more transmit time periods during which the first transceiver is scheduled to transmit signals according to the first transmission and reception schedule or one or more receive time periods during which the first transceiver is scheduled to receive signals according to the first transmission and reception schedule, and actively synchronize the receiving or transmitting of signals by the first transceiver with the receiving or transmitting of signals by the second transceiver based on a de-sensing target, such that the transmitting of signals by the first transceiver during one of the one or more transmit time periods occurs at the same time as the transmitting of signals by the second transceiver or the receiving of signals by the first transceiver during one of the one or more receive time periods occurs at the same time as the receiving of signals by the second transceiver.
