PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an area variable frame body or volume variable solid structure, capable of changing an area or volume according to telescopic operation of a telescopic arm.SOLUTION: An area variable frame body includes telescopic arms A, B, C, D constituting the respective sides of a polygonal frame body, and connection mechanisms 15, 16 connecting two adjacent telescopic arms in a linkage manner so as to link telescopic operations of two adjacent sides. The telescopic arm includes a plurality of cross units 11 connecting two rigid members crossed into an X shape in a rotatable manner through a central connection shaft 12, and end part connection parts 13, 14 connecting the end parts of adjacent cross units in a rotatable manner.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
