A food garbage disposing equipment is provided to dispose food garbage discharged through a drain of a sink of a household or restaurant into a form that is handled easily and hygienically by improving structure of the equipment. In a food garbage disposing equipment comprising a dewatering and pressing unit for removing water from food garbage injected into a drain(2) of a sink(1) and pressing the water-removed food garbage, the food garbage disposing equipment further comprises a shaping unit for discharging the food garbage in the form of a plurality of blocks(9) by shaping and dividing the food garbage that has been dewatered and pressed by the dewatering and pressing unit, wherein the shaping unit includes: a hollow case(50) having an inlet(501) and an outlet(502); a first plate(510) which is installed within the case, and which has passing holes formed therein to pass food garbage that has been flown into the case through the inlet through the passing holes; a second plate(520) installed under the first plate; a rotor(530) including a body part rotatably disposed between the first and second plates, and a plurality of vane parts disposed on the body part to form a plurality of independent housing parts by cooperating with the first and second plates; a rotor drive motor(60) for rotating the rotor such that the food garbage that has passed through the passing holes is sequentially housed into the housing parts; and a discharge member for sequentially discharging the food garbage that has been housed and shaped in the housing parts to the outlet of the case. |
