<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact mobile communication device having a function for receiving mobile multimedia broadcasting. <P>SOLUTION: The system has a rod-like antenna which is at most 150 mm long and at most 10 mm in diameter, a low-pass filter for passing a signal of VHF band, a high-pass filter for passing a signal of UHF band, an electrical length correction circuit for correcting the electrical length of the rod-like antenna, a first matching circuit for matching impedance between the rod-like antenna and a VHF receiving circuit, and a second matching circuit for matching impedance between the rod-like antenna and a UHF receiving circuit. The low-pass filter and the high-pass filter are connected in parallel to a feed point of the rod-like antenna. The electrical length correction circuit and the first matching circuit are connected in series in this order in a latter part of the low-pass filter.
