PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving device capable of maintaining the environment around linear motion guide in a clean condition always and having high strength irrespective of its small weight. SOLUTION: This moving device is provided with the linear motion guide for guiding various objects to be moved into a predetermined direction and a base (a beam 4) supporting the linear motion guide. The base is constituted by a hollow can member whose both ends 4e are opened, and both openings are blocked by lid bodies 34. The base is provided with a hole 36 for suction communicating with the inside of the base and a joint 38 for suction capable of connecting a suction mechanism to suck outside air through the hole for suction by leading pressure in the inside of the base into negative pressure by the suction mechanism connected with the joint for suction.
