A heating cooking apparatus comprising a top board (4) for placing a load thereon and touch operation parts (8, 9) for operating the heating operation of a heating part controllably heating the load. The operation display parts (8a, 9a) of the touch operation parts include display letters (12a) disposed below the top board (4) and a back light (11) for transmitting light through the top board to display the display letters (12a) while the back light turns on. When the operation display parts (8a, 9a) are not displayed, the entire part of the operation display parts including the display letters (12a) is put out and the operation display parts (8a, 9a) cannot be operated. By such a structure, the heating cooling apparatus with excellent usability can be provided. |
