摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress reduction in the output of a heat engine enabling recovery of exhaust heat from it and suppress reduction of acceleration performance. SOLUTION: This exhaust heat recovery device 10 includes a Stirling engine 100 and a transmission 5 for an exhaust heat recovery engine. The Stirling engine 100 recovers heat energy from the exhaust gas Ex exhausted from the internal combustion engine 1 enabling recovery of exhaust heat and generates output. The output generated by the Stirling engine 100 is transmitted to a transmission 4 for the heat engine through the transmission 5 for the exhaust heat recovery engine, is synthesized with the output generated by the internal combustion engine 1 in the transmission 4 for the heat engine, and is taken out of an output shaft 9. When the sum of output of the internal combustion engine 1 and output of the Stirling engine 100 is larger than demand output and output of the internal combustion engine 1 becomes the minimum value, rotational speed of the Stirling engine 100 is changed by the transmission 4 for the heat engine.
