PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arrangement structure of a rotary electric machine unit which secures the cooling performance of a control part in a structure where the control part is integrally provided with a motor part, and to provide the rotary electric machine unit.SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine unit 1 integrally includes: a motor part 10 including a stator 12 having a coil 11 and fixed to a casing 51 of an internal combustion engine 50 and a rotor 13 facing the stator 12 and fixed to a rotary driving shaft 52 of the internal combustion engine 50; and a control part 30 for controlling energization of the stator 12. In an arrangement structure of the rotary electric machine unit 1, at least a part of the control part 30 is disposed in a cooling air passage A of the internal combustion engine 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
