The method involves using a rule for allocation of a parameter of a value set, where the parameter concerns addressing of a packet-context. A parameter is provided either by a mobile station (MS) or tunnel-termination-gateway (TTG) according to rule, during a request concerning the parameter allocation. The provided parameter is used by a gateway GPRS support node of a communication network for distinct addressing of a data flow. An independent claim is also included for a device for allocating a parameter of a value set.
