A steam generator is provided to eliminate wrinkle of laundry without ironing and prevent foreign materials from entering a cartridge by installing a filter between the upper surface of a cover and the upper surface of an upper housing. A steam generator comprises a drum, a hot blast heater, a steam generator, a cartridge, and a water supply port. The water supply port is below an upper surface(321) of the cartridge and covered with a cover(322), an upper surface of which is above the upper surface of the cartridge. A filter(324) is located between the upper surface of the cover and the upper surface of the cartridge. The upper surface of the cartridge is inclined at predetermined angle. |
