<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous secondary battery having high reliability and capable of shutting off current with quick responsiveness to heat generation to avoid a situation causing heat generation even when sudden exothermic reaction is caused by an internal short circuit by installing a plurality of portions having an overcurrent shutting off function in an electrode plate, and fusing the plurality of portions having the overcurrent shutting off function when current less than short circuit current flows. <P>SOLUTION: When thickness of an electrode mix layer on one side of an electrode plate 25 formed by applying electrode mix layers 23a, 23b containing electrode active materials 22a, 22b to a current collector 24, drying and pressing the electrode mix layers, is represented by T, particles 21a, 21b having a particle size of T/4 to T/2 are included in the electrode plate 25. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
